'Chelsea Will Fight Until The End'  (Sky Sports)

Antonio ConteAntonio Conte says Chelsea will "fight until the end" despite facing "great difficulties" this season.

Olivier Giroud's header gave them a 1-0 win over Liverpool at Stamford Bridge and kept them in the hunt for a Champions League place.

The victory moves Chelsea to within two points of Tottenham in fourth and three behind third-placed Liverpool with two games to play.

"For sure today was a must-win game against a strong team, a really good team," Conte told Sky Sports.

"It was a good game, great desire, great will to keep the hope alive. I'm very happy for the players and the fans because they deserve this kind of game, a good game.

"Our target is to try to finish the season in the best possible way, to try to fight and to the best satisfaction of our fans.

"In the league we are struggling, we are struggling a lot for many reasons but despite the great difficulties of this season, we are still alive and we want to fight until the end."

Conte also praised match-winner Giroud for the impact he has had since arriving from Arsenal in January.

"He's brought great personality, we're talking about an international player with a lot of experience," he added.

"Maybe this team need it, to have this type of player. Today he played a very good game, he worked very hard with and without the ball and I'm pleased with the performance of the whole team."

Chelsea face Huddersfield at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, live on Sky Sports Premier League, before ending the season with an away game at Newcastle.
