Wilkins To Be Honoured At FA Cup Final  (Sky Sports)

Ray WilkinsThe Football Association have announced they will pay tribute to Ray Wilkins at Saturday's FA Cup final at Wembley.

The former Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder passed away in hospital last month after suffering a heart attack.

His wife Jackie will present the trophy to the winning team from the Royal Box and the match-day programme will contain a tribute.

The final pits Chelsea against Manchester United, and banners in his memory will be unveiled at both ends of the ground ahead of kick-off.

FA chairman Greg Clarke said: "It is particularly fitting that both clubs and the wider football community will unite to remember Ray Wilkins on the day.

"Ray had a longstanding affinity with the competition, winning it as both a player and as an assistant manager. He is sorely missed."
