Willian: I Respect Conte's Decision  (Sky Sports)

Antonio Conte and WillianWillian admits he found it difficult not starting games for Chelsea last season but says he respects the decision of manager Antonio Conte.

The Brazil midfielder was voted the club's players' player of the season but was left out of the starting line-up for last month's FA Cup final - the fourth time in Chelsea's last five games.

Sky Sports News understands that Willian wants to leave Stamford Bridge if Conte remains as head coach, and is a target for Manchester United this summer.

Speaking at Tottenham's training ground where Brazil are preparing for the World Cup, he said: "I was happy with my performance during the season, I played very well I always try to do my best and work hard.

"Sometimes to stay on the bench is difficult but I respect the decision of the manager.

"I don't have anything more to say about my club because now I want to have focus here on the national team and the World Cup."

Conte's future as boss remains in doubt, with Chelsea having pursued ex-Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri. They also hold an interest in Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic, according to Sky sources.

Willian has two years remaining on his Chelsea contract.
