Despite
renewed speculation about a late bid for Declan Rice, it is the players who
might leave Chelsea who are catching attention on Deadline Day.
Chelsea have spent heavily this summer and it's thought likely that their
Deadline Day activites will focus primarily on trimming their squad.
Chelsea have already rejected a loan bid for Callum Hudson-Odoi from Bayern
Munich.
The Champions League winners have offered to take the 19-year-old on loan
for the rest of this season with an option to buy for £70m next summer.
Another of the club's academy graduates could be on their way, however.
"There's lots of interest about taking Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan," said
Sky Sports News' Kaveh Solhekol. "Fulham are one of the clubs
interested."
Sky Sports News reporter Dharmesh Sheth added: "We're being told
that at the moment, it looks like Antonio Rudiger is going to stay at
Chelsea despite the fact that PSG, Tottenham and AC Milan are all interested
in taking him on loan. The feeling in his camp is to wait until the January
transfer window to keep his options open.
"Malang Sarr, the free signing that arrived in the summer, he looks like
going to Porto on loan while Tiemoue Bakayoko is on his way to Napoli.
Jorginho to Arsenal is very unlikely now with them going for Thomas Partey,
and Emerson, Marcos Alonso and Kepa Arrizabalaga all look like staying."
Tiemoue Bakayoko, who has not played a Premier League minute for Chelsea
since May 2018, has now completed a move to Napoli on a season-long loan,
returning to Serie A after spending 2018/19 with AC Milan.
