Sarri says Chelsea need to "respect" whatever decision Eden Hazard has made
about his future.
The Belgian, who started on the bench at Leicester, has been repeatedly
linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent times and with one year left on
his contract he could depart Stamford Bridge over the summer.
Sarri says he wants Hazard to stay but accepts the decision is out of his
hands after their goalless draw at the King Power Stadium.
"We know for the fans [Hazard] is very important," Sarri said.
"We know Eden has played here in Chelsea for seven seasons; he tried in
every match to do his best and now it is time to respect his decision. I
hope he will remain with us."
After the match against Leicester, Hazard could be seen blowing kisses to
the away fans after a cameo performance off the bench.
Chelsea still have to face Arsenal in the Europa League final in Baku later
in May but his appearance at Leicester could be his last in the Premier
League.
"Eden today was tired, of course, he was on the bench," Sarri said.
"We tried to win the match with him for the last 25 minutes."
