Hazard has made history with a clean sweep of accolades at Chelsea’s
end-of-season awards night.
Hazard was voted by supporters as Chelsea's Player of the Year for the
fourth time in his career, while the Belgium international also scooped the
Players' Player of the Year accolade.
The 28-year-old made it an unprecedented hat-trick of awards by landing the
Goal of the Season award for his magnificent solo effort in Chelsea's 2-1
Carabao Cup win over Liverpool at Anfield last September.
Hazard, who scored the winning penalty in Thursday night's shootout to
secure Chelsea's place in the Europa League final, has enjoyed another
stellar season with the Blues, scoring 19 goals and providing 16 assists.
"My relationship with the fans has been really good since I came here,"
Hazard said after picking up the Player of the Year award from head coach
Maurizio Sarri and assistant manager Gianfranco Zola.
'It's always a pleasure to play at Stamford Bridge in front of the fans.
That's why I am on the pitch.
"When we play for such a great club like Chelsea - at the end of the season
you want to win something. Now we have that opportunity. We will go to Baku
[for the Europa League final] all together with the fans and we will be back
with the trophy."
England international Callum Hudson-Odoi was named Young Player of the Year
at the ceremony after building on an exciting start to his Chelsea career.
Scotland Women's international Erin Cuthbert won the Women's Player of the
Year. Wales international Sophie Ingle picked up the Women's Players' Player
of the Year award.
