Higuain joined his new Chelsea team-mates for training at Cobham as they
prepare for the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg with Tottenham.
The Argentina international forward joined the Premier League club on
Wednesday on loan until the end of the season.
Higuain was given a lift to training by former Napoli team-mate Jorginho
before meeting the rest of the Chelsea squad.
He was put through his paces away from the main group, who are preparing for
Thursday night's match at Stamford Bridge against Spurs.
The 31-year-old is ineligible but will be available for Sunday's FA Cup
fourth-round fixture with Sheffield Wednesday.
Higuain has reunited with Maurizio Sarri, having worked together at Italy
with Napoli.
The former Real Madrid striker's move to Stamford Bridge is expected to pave
the way for Alvaro Morata to join Atletico Madrid on loan.
Olivier Giroud is Chelsea's only fit and available forward for the game with
Tottenham but Eden Hazard is expected to carry on deputising in the 'false
nine' role.
