Chelsea
are close to agreeing a deal for Alvaro Morata to join Atletico Madrid on
loan, Sky Sports News understands.
Maurizio Sarri has said Morata told him in December that he wanted to leave
Stamford Bridge after he failed to secure a regular starting berth at the
club.
Morata joined Chelsea from Real Madrid in July 2017 but has scored just 24
goals in 72 appearances and now looks set for a return to La Liga after
Gonzalo Higuain completed his loan move to the west London club from
Juventus on Wednesday.
Chelsea are also in talks for Victor Moses to join Fenerbahce on loan.
Moses has played only 26 minutes in the Premier League this season, having
helped Chelsea win the title under Antonio Conte in 2017.
Fenerbahce, who have won the Turkish Super Liga 19 times, are struggling
this season and lie 15th in the table, level on 17 points with Akhisarspor
who currently occupy the final relegation spot.
