Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has reiterated his desire to make his
temporary move to AC Milan permanent at the end of the season.
The 24-year-old midfielder has enjoyed a return to form at the San Siro this
season after failing to impress Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri in pre-season.
Bakayoko was loaned out to the San Siro in August with his long-term future
at Stamford Bridge remaining in doubt.
The Frenchman still has three years left to run on his current deal with the
Blues, but has admitted he is hopeful of securing a permanent move to AC
Milan at the end of the season.
"Things are going well for the club and I right now," he told French
newspaper Nice Matin.
"There wasn't a turning point. I just wanted to show that I was good enough
for a big club. Milan are on a different planet.
"I was greeted by Maldini and Leonardo on my first day and and you
immediately realise who you're dealing with.
"Then you have the atmosphere at San Siro, which is extraordinary. Milan are
a legendary club. Who wouldn't like to stay at a club like Milan for a long
time?
"Having said that, I'm still under contract with Chelsea for the next three
years. I don't have all the cards."
