Chelsea
and Juventus are in talks to sign Atletico Madrid defender Stefan Savic,
according to Sky in Italy.
Savic, a former Manchester City player, has spent three seasons with Atleti
since joining the club from Fiorentina in 2015.
The 27-year-old Montenegro international made 36 appearances for the club
last season and was an unused substitute in the Europa League final against
Marseille.
Juventus are looking to bolster their defensive ranks after allowing veteran
full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner to join Arsenal on a free transfer earlier
this summer.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are expected to sign reinforcements this summer after
missing out on Champions League football following their fifth-place finish
in the Premier League.
Atletico Madrid completed the signing of defensive midfielder Rodri in May,
while the Spanish club have also reached a preliminary agreement with Monaco
for the transfer of Thomas Lemar.
However, Antoine Griezmann could be on his way out of the Wanda
Metropolitano after admitting he has made a decision about his future, with
Barcelona heavily linked with the France international.
