Conte has urged Chelsea fans to give Jose Mourinho a warm reception at the
Bridge - but says once the game starts, he becomes "an enemy".
Manchester United boss Mourinho returns to his former club for the first
time since he was sacked last December and the match will be live on
Sky
Sports 1 HD on Nissan Super Sunday.
Conte expects the Portuguese to remain in fans' hearts after lifting three
Premier League titles across two spells as manager and Mourinho also has the
Italian's utmost respect.
Conte said: "When you win three championships, you remain in the hearts of
the fans. It's normal, this.
"He was an important manager for Chelsea. I have great respect for him. He's
a great manager. He won a lot in his career and he deserves the maximum
respect.
"He deserves a good reception. He wrote, with the players and the club and
the staff, part of the story of this club. Then, after the whistle, he
becomes like the other Manchester United players - an enemy, in the sporting
aspect."
Conte will also clash with former player Paul Pogba, whom he signed for
Juventus on a free transfer from Manchester United in 2012.
Conte said: "As a footballer, he was born in England. I remember we took him
from Manchester United and he was a great player.
"Now he is back in England and he deserves all. For him to come back to
Manchester United was his dream. I wish the best for him but only after the
game."
