Chelsea
midfielder N'Golo Kante has won the PFA Fans' Premier League Player of the
Month award for March.
Over 32,000 votes were cast in the poll, which was held on the Sky Sports
website and apps, with Kante, whose performances helped Chelsea secure
back-to-back away wins in the Premier League in March, claiming victory with
11,763 votes, beating Everton striker Romelu Lukaku and Tottenham's Dele
Alli.
Lukaku, who scored four league goals in three Premier League matches in
March, came second with 10,777 votes, while Alli was third with 4,069 votes.
Bournemouth striker Josh King (3,114), Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy
(1,290) and Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha (1,251) rounded off the top
six.
The candidates were chosen by our expert panel, which included Sky Sports
pundits Peter Beagrie and Paul Merson, Mike Riley - general manager of the
Professional Game Match Officials - and Malcolm Clarke, chairman of the
Football Supporters' Federation.
And it is Kante who has come out on top thanks to your votes, which have
been verified by an independent party.
