Chelsea
duo Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois have returned to training following
injuries and could play in Saturday’s home game against Crystal Palace.
Playmaker Hazard, who has been linked with a £100m move to Real Madrid this
week, withdrew from the Belgium squad for the international break having
missed the Premier League leader's 2-1 win at Stoke with a calf injury.
Goalkeeper Courtois played in Belgium's World Cup qualifying draw with
Greece but missed the friendly with Russia on Tuesday night and had
treatment for a hip injury.
But the pair took part in training on Thursday as Antonio Conte stepped up
preparations for Saturday's London derby at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte's side enter this weekend's fixtures with a 10-point lead at
the top of the table over Tottenham, who were the last team to beat them on
January 4th.
The Blues have a crucial home game with Manchester City on Wednesday before
travelling to Bournemouth three days later.
