Fulham
have confirmed the signing of Chelsea's Tomas Kalas on a season-long loan.
The 23-year-old will make the move across London in order to gain regular
first-team football at the Championship club.
He made his debut for the Blues against Arsenal in the League Cup in October
2013 before making his first Premier League start away to Liverpool later
that season but has found it hard to break into the first-team on a
consistent basis.
The central defender or right-back had a similar spell with recently
promoted Middlesbrough on an 18-month deal as he helped them to promotion to
the Premier League last season, playing 30 times in all competitions.
Kalas told the club's website: "They were really active to reach me. I'm
happy to sign for the club because when you see the interest, that's one of
the most important things. Hopefully we can get promotion, or at least the
play-offs."
He is a Czech Republic international, making the first of his three caps in
November 2012 against Slovakia.
