Ravanelli is in no doubt his former Juventus and Italy team-mate Antonio
Conte will lead Chelsea to the Premier League title this season.
The pair shared a dressing room with the Italian giants for four years, from
1992 to 1996, before Ravanelli was sold to Middlesbrough.
They were also regular colleagues for their national side, and during those
times together, Ravanelli saw the qualities which have made Conte such an
effective manager.
"I was at Cobham a month ago to see Antonio and he is a maniacal coach,"
Ravanelli said of Conte, who won three Serie A titles as manager of Juventus
and led Italy to Euro 2016.
"He is a fantastic manager and every player at Chelsea is in touch with what
he is doing.
"Before he was a manager he was a big man, he always talks to you face to
face, and when you are a fantastic man it is easy to be a fantastic manager.
"He won everything as a player and he always had a strong personality, and
that's important when you are a manager.
"With Antonio, it's important to be professional in everything, in training
and on the pitch."
Conte has made an excellent start to his career in English football, with
Chelsea seven points clear of second-placed Tottenham at the top of the
Premier League.
And Ravanelli is confident his former team-mate will go on to complete the
job of taking the title back to Stamford Bridge.
"I'm sure (they can win the title)," he said. "Arsenal, Liverpool and
Manchester City are a little behind Chelsea, and they are strong in attack
and at the back.
"Being strong at the back is very important in the Premier League and I
think they will win it."
