Summer
signing Michy Batshuayi endeared himself to Chelsea supporters just two
games into his career at the club with his first goal in Saturday's victory
at Watford.
With his side trailing to an Etienne Capoue strike, Antonio Conto brought
the £33m signing from Marseille on with 17 minutes remaining at Vicarage
Road as he sought a route back into the contest.
The 22-year-old Belgium international looked bright and added quality in the
final third, and it took him just seven minutes to make his mark, reduce the
arrears with a poachers finish.
When an unsighted Heurelho Gomes was unable to gather Eden Hazard's dipping
drive, an eager Batshuayi was on hand to rifle the ball home from close
range for his maiden goal for his new club.
The strike proved to be the catalyst for Chelsea's revival as Diego Costa
completed the turnaround three minutes from time as the Blues maintained
their 100 per cent start under Conte in the Premier League.
