Hazard: No Problem With Jose  (Sky Sports)

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has dismissed the idea that he has a problematic relationship with manager Jose Mourinho.

And the Belgium international has hinted that he intends to remain at Stamford Bridge for the foreseeable future.

The 24-year-old won a host of individual awards after a superb 2014/15 campaign, during which he helped Chelsea to Premier League and Capital One Cup glory.

However, he has struggled to recapture that form this season and the Blues have also been poor in relation to last term, claiming just their fourth League win when they beat Norwich 1-0 on Saturday.

It has been suggested that Hazard's relationship with Mourinho has deteriorated and even that he may be angling for a transfer to Real Madrid.

But, when asked if there was an issue with the manager, Hazard said: "I heard a lot of things about this but no, everything is good with him.

"I don't have a problem with him, he is the best manager. He is the best manager for Chelsea and we hope we can win a lot of trophies together.

"Maybe not this season because it will be difficult, but next season and on."

Hazard is mystified by his struggles at the start of the campaign, adding: "I didn't start the season well.

"I tried to find out why, but I don't know.

"Sometimes you don't know, you have to keep going. I gave everything in training, and on the pitch when I played.

"I hope I can get a lot of form and try to help the team win games."

Hazard looked far more like his old self against Norwich, when he was deployed as the central playmaker, rather than in his more usual left-wing role.

He says that he spoke to Mourinho about playing in the number 10 position prior to the end of Chelsea's League Cup tie at Stoke, when he ended up missing the key penalty in a shoot-out loss.

"I said to him: 'Maybe we have to try to change something. If I can play number 10?' And we try," said Hazard.

"I played a very good game in the Cup in Stoke and, (against Norwich), it was the same.

"I just want to be on the pitch and, if I play number 10 or on the flanks, it's not a problem."
