Real
Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane believes Chelsea winger Eden Hazard is
currently the third best player in the world.
In what is being interpreted as a broad hint that the Spanish giants may
make a summer transfer move for the Belgian, Zidane has issued a glowing
appraisal of Hazard, who is yet to score during the Blues' poor season.
Hazard, a £32m signing from Lille in June 2012, has scored four times for
his national side during the current campaign but has failed to repeat the
club form which made him the PFA and Football Writers' player of the year
last term.
Zidane - who currently coaches Real Madrid's B team, Real Madrid Castilla -
is understood to have been one of Hazard's boyhood idols, and the French
legend is confident the 24-year-old will recapture his good form for
Chelsea.
"I have no doubts he'll be back," said Zidane. "After Messi and Ronaldo,
Hazard is my favourite player. It is spectacular to see him play."
And he added: "Do I see him going to Real Madrid? I love the player, that's
all I will say."
