
Chelsea
are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi,
according to Sky in Italy.
The 30-year-old Argentina international's contract with the French champions
expires in the summer.
Sky in Italy understand the player's agent, Alejandro Mazzoni, is in London
today and could meet representatives from Chelsea, who are one of the
options available to him.
They also understand he has offers in Italy, including Inter Milan, who have
taken concrete steps to sign him.
Lavezzi began his career as a youth with the renowned Rosario Central in
Argentina.
His first professional deal was with Estudiantes before a three-year spell
with San Lorenzo, followed by a transfer to Napoli in 2007.
Lavezzi, who has 48 caps for Argentina and was part of their squad that made
the World Cup final in 2014, moved to PSG in in 2012 and has made over 100
appearances for the club, scoring 22 Ligue 1 goals.
