Papy Djilobodji could join Werder Bremen on loan - after playing just one
minute for Chelsea.
The 27-year-old defender signed from Nantes in August, but his solitary
appearance came in the Capital One Cup at Walsall in September, when used as
a late substitute.
Werder Bremen chief executive Thomas Eichin told Bild: "We are in
negotiations."
Chelsea have declined to comment.
Former Blues boss Jose Mourinho admitted the Senegal defender was signed on
a recommendation.
But despite Chelsea's defensive lapses this season, neither Mourinho nor his
successor Guus Hiddink, the caretaker boss, has fielded Djilobodji in a
Premier League game.
