Chelsea
manager Guus Hiddink has confirmed Eden Hazard will miss their Premier
League game against West Brom on Wednesday.
The Belgium international injured his groin in the 16th minute of the 3-0
win at Crystal Palace on January 3 and is not ready for a return to action,
Hiddink stated after their 2-0 win over Scunthorpe in the third round of the
FA Cup.
Hazard has struggled for form this season and has not scored for the club in
2014/15.
Despite failing to hit the heights he reached last season, Hazard's father
insisted last week he is keen to remain at Stamford Bridge, despite
suggestions he could leave the club during the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old was named Player of the Year last season by his fellow
professionals, the Premier League and football writers as he scored 19 goals
in 52 appearances for the Blues to help play a significant role in their
Premier League and Capital One Cup triumphs.
