John
Terry trained with Chelsea on Monday despite suffering a "muscular" injury
in the Blues' 5-1 victory over Newcastle on Saturday.
The Chelsea captain was expected to be a major doubt for Tuesday night's
Champions League last 16 first-leg tie with Paris Saint-Germain.
Terry came off in the first half against Newcastle, and Hiddink had
indicated that the PSG game would come too soon for the former England
international.
Kurt Zouma has been ruled out for the season, leaving Gary Cahill as
Chelsea's only fully fit established centre-back.
Should Terry play against PSG, it will be his 700th game for Chelsea. If he
is unavailable, Branislav Ivanovic is likely to deputise in the heart of
defence.
Eden Hazard is expected to be involved in the Champions League encounter,
but reignited speculation over his long-term Chelsea future by admitting it
would be hard to reject an approach from PSG.
Chelsea fly to Paris on Monday afternoon, with Hiddink due to address the
media later that evening.
Brazil playmaker Oscar, who missed Chelsea's match with the Magpies, also
took part in training.
Chelsea's official website reported: "John Terry and Oscar were both able to
take part in the final training session before the Champions League Round of
16 first-leg match in Paris tomorrow (Tuesday).
"The Chelsea captain was withdrawn during the first half of Saturday's win
over Newcastle due to what Guus Hiddink reported afterwards might be a
slight muscular problem with his hamstring. Oscar missed the game with a
minor calf
injury."
