Chelsea
manager Jose Mourinho was happy enough with his side's display as they
thrashed Maribor 6-0 to strengthen their position at the top of Group G.
Loic Remy grabbed the first for the Premier League leaders before Didier
Drogba scored his first goal for the club since his decisive strike in the
2012 final.
John Terry, a Mitja Viler own goal and a late brace from Eden Hazard sealing
an emphatic win at Stamford Bridge and afterwards Mourinho felt it was a job
well done.
He told Sky Sports: "It was good. Obviously when you score a third before
half-time the opponents were not strong enough to have a reaction in the
second-half and to create problems for you, so it was a safe performance.
"I think we were very, very strong when we had to be very strong, which was
at the beginning of the game, and after that we had the happiness to play.
"The players kept enjoying the game, playing with ambition and trying to
score goals, so three important points."
Meanwhile, Ivory Coast star Drogba hailed his moment scoring from the
penalty spot as a 'really special moment' in Chelsea colours.
"I always felt lucky to score here (at Stamford Bridge) and I had that
feeling again.
"I never knew if it was going to be the same story again (when he walked up
to take the penalty) but I hoped so."
