Chelsea will play a Thailand All Stars team in Bangkok on May 30 - adding to
their lengthy post-season plans.
The Blues, who clinched the title on Sunday with a 1-0 victory over Crystal
Palace, will undergo a 21,251-mile round trip just six days after the final
game of the season to play the fixture at the Rajamangala Stadium before
flying to Australia to face Sydney FC on June 2.
Jose Mourinho's side have also committed to playing in the International
Champions Cup in the USA against New York Red Bulls, Paris St Germain and
Barcelona when they begin their pre-season in July.
Chelsea have have previously played fixtures in Thailand in 2011 and 2013.
Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck said: "We are very pleased to finalise our
post-season schedule and I look forward to visiting Bangkok again."
Organisers of the Bangkok fixture said it was being held to celebrate the
88th birthday of the King of Thailand.
The fixture, featuring many Thai internationals and led by national team
coach Kietisuk 'Zico' Senamuang, will come days after Thailand open their
World Cup qualifying campaign against Vietnam at the same venue.
