Chelsea
winger Christian Atsu is in talks with Bournemouth over a loan deal,
according to Sky sources.
Atsu, 23, who spent the last campaign on loan at Everton, is now close to
agreeing another season-long deal with Eddie Howe's Premier League
newcomers.
The Ghanaian moved to Stamford Bridge from Porto in September 2013, signing
a five-year contract for a fee of around £3.5m, and was immediately loaned
out to Vitesse Arnhem.
He made 26 appearances and scored five goals for the Dutch side before
joining the Toffees for the whole of the 2014-15 season.
Atsu was part of the Ghana squad beaten in the final of the 2015 Africa Cup
of Nations by Ivory Coast during his time on Merseyside, but has yet to
feature for Chelsea.
The Championship champions made Artur Boruc their first signing ahead of
their first top-flight campaign and added another goalkeeper on Wednesday
when Adam Federici joined from Reading.
Howe's club have also been linked to Burnley full-back Kieran Trippier,
Blackburn forward Josh King and Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle in
recent weeks.
