Former
Chelsea forward Gianfranco Zola says the Blues have been the dominant force
in the Premier League this season and fully deserve to be crowned champions.
Speaking to the Morning View on Sky Sports News HQ, Zola said: "Without
doubt I can say that Chelsea deserved to win the league, they have been
dominant this year.
"The football that they played at the start of the season was also
exceptional going forward, scoring goals but also performing well. Nobody
can question that they were very dominant.
"Jose Mourinho is probably the master of achieving results, getting
victories and winning trophies. He prepares every single detail and he works
very hard on the game - that's what I have been told. Everything he gets he
deserves."
Zola also says he is an admirer of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard who he says
plays in a similar way to the way he used to at Stamford bridge.
He added: "I am a fan of him, he's one of those players that you would go to
pay to see even if you don't support Chelsea. He's makes the game very
spectacular.
"This year in my opinion under Jose he has learned to be be more effective
in his game. Everyone loves to see players like him. We have very good
similarities - we are very good at beating our men in a one versus one
situation, that was the very good part of my game.
"He's very strong and very powerful but plays in a wider area that I used
to, but that doesn't take anything away from his game.
"He's effective and detect the game even from those areas. I can see him
improving because he's young and he will want to get to a higher point in
his career."
