Diego
Costa has promised to help deliver silverware to Stamford Bridge next season
following his big-money move from Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea paid Atletico Madrid £32m for the 25-year-old striker earlier this
summer and he is keen to start repaying the Londoners at the first
opportunity.
Costa, who last season helped Atletico to their first La Liga title in 18
years, and to the final of the Champions League, is desperate to solve
manager Jose Mourinho's much publicised striking problems.
Speaking to Chelsea TV, he said: "I'd say to the fans that you need to be
confident that I personally will fight for this club to make sure we are in
contention to win as many trophies as possible.
“I'm part of a great group here of players and we will do everything we can
to give the fans what they want - and that's titles."
The Brazil-born Spanish international is currently with Chelsea at their
training camp in Austria.
