Wednesday have signed teenage midfielder Lewis Baker on a youth loan from
Chelsea for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old, an England Under-20 international, is expected to be
included in Wednesday's squad for this weekend's Championship game at
Nottingham Forest.
Baker progressed through Chelsea's academy and signed his first professional
deal in 2012 before making his only first-team appearance in the FA Cup win
at Derby in January last year. He signed a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge
in the summer.
He was named Chelsea's young player of the year last season and also won the
Barclays Under-21 Goal of the Season award for his effort against Arsenal.
