McClaren Rules Out Atsu Move  (Sky Sports)

Derby head coach Steve McClaren has ruled out a loan move for Chelsea winger Christian Atsu.

There have been reports this week that Chelsea are set to recall Atsu from his loan spell at Everton and send the 23-year-old out again to the iPro Stadium, but McClaren has dismissed this.

"I know him from Vitesse [Arnhem] in Holland but no, no interest in him," said McClaren at his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon.

Derby are still looking for a replacement for winger Jordon Ibe, who was recalled from his loan spell by Liverpool last week.

Atsu has made just three Premier League appearances this season for Everton and he is currently away with Ghana at the African Nations Cup.
