Juan
Cuadrado has completed his £26.1million from Fiorentina to Chelsea,
according to Sky Italia.
The 26-year-old Colombia forward has been in discussions over a move to
Stamford Bridge for some time, but the deal has hinged on moves away from
Chelsea for Andre Shurrle and Mohamed Salah.
Schurrle was announced as Bundesliga club Wolfsburg's newest signing just
after 5pm on Deadline Day, while Salah is to join Fiorentina on loan as part
of the deal for Cuadrado.
Cuadrado, who signed for Fiorentina from Lecce in 2013, impressed at last
summer's World Cup in Brazil, scoring in the 4-1 over Japan.
He has since scored six goals in 23 appearances in Italy and become a
dangerous attacking player for the Serie A club.
Schurrle, 24, joined Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen for £18m in June 2013 and
has scored five goals in 22 appearances this season.
But he has struggled under Jose Mourinho this season, while Salah has also
found himself on the periphery of Mourinho's plans.
