Hazard has delivered an ominous warning to Chelsea’s rivals after admitting
he can become and even better player.
The Belgian playmaker was Chelsea’s top scorer last season with 14 Premier
League goals and he also contributed more assists than any of his
team-mates.
At the same time, Hazard averaged more successful dribbles than any other
player in the 2013/14 English top flight and that form earned him a place on
the Ballon d’Or shortlist.
The £32million summer 2012 signing from Lille has as a result become one of
the most feared players in the Premier League, Europe and around the world.
But the bad news for Chelsea’s title rivals is that the 23-year-old thinks
there is still room for improvement as he aims to bring more trophies to
Stamford Bridge.
“I can be better,” Hazard exclusively told Sky Sports.
“Last season was very good, and the first season [at Chelsea] as well. Now I
am in the third season and if I can win trophies, it could be better.
“Personally, if I continue like this and score more goals and make more
assists but most important is trophies at the end.”
